The Team

annette-thumbAnnette Baron, PA, MBA, President – established Eagle Research, Inc. and, since 1987 has been continuously devising creative strategies to identify and source top talent. Her extensive work with a wide variety of companies and professionals has resulted in longevity and a nationwide stellar reputation.  Through her efforts and leveraging key alliances, her company offers a unique approach to candidate recruitment, employee selection, and workforce retention.  Her work in Human Resources began in 1987 when she started recruiting for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, contract research and related industries.  This occurred after a five-year career as a Physician Assistant in clinical practice in the New York metropolitan area. Since 1993 she has owned and operated Eagle Research, Inc. which has more than tripled in scope and has become well known and respected for delivering on-time recruiting, robust selection, and comprehensive retention strategies.  Annette has a B.A. in Biology from Hofstra University, an additional degree in Medical Sciences from Long Island University, and an MBA with honors from Regis University.  She is also an active musician playing flute, saxophone, and clarinet and an Adjunct Professor in the Cotsakos College of Business at William Paterson University where she teaches Human Resource Management.

Erika-bacikErika Bacik, Director, Medical Affairs – received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Montclair State University. Having been with Eagle Research, Inc. since 1994, it is an understatement to simply state that Erika is an integral part of the success of the company. Over the years, she has gained the trust and confidence of both clients and candidates, and enjoys a stellar reputation in the industry.

GillJesseJesse Gill, Associate Director Medical Affairs – received her Bachelors of Business Administration degree with a double major in Marketing and Management from the University of Houston, Texas. Since 2000, she has been recruiting for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries from the CRA level to the Vice President level. Jesse speaks three languages and very much enjoys working with people in the pharmaceutical industry. She has a keen interest in medicine and the drug development process, and works very hard to stay current on company news and medical research. She has plans to pursue an MBA.

OlivaPaulPaul Oliva, CCP, GRP, Managing Director of Comp Edge LLC is our Eagle Research, Inc. compensation expert. Paul has 20 years experience in the field of compensation and a proven track record of transforming best practice compensation strategy into corporate culture changing initiatives. Paul is recognized for his global expertise in sales incentive plan design as well as all forms of variable reward and recognition programs. He has worked in both public and private sectors, and has a wide range of diversified industry experience in Finance, Managed Care, Food, Chemical and Durable Goods manufacturing. Paul’s Industrial/Organizational Psychology background has provided him with a sound basis for understanding organizational behavior and an ability to apply a common sense practicality to best practice incentive design principles. A longstanding member of the American Compensation Association, now World at Work, Mr. Oliva has earned the professional designations of Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) and Global Remuneration Professional (GRP). He was recently published in World at Work Journal (3rd Quarter, 2009) for his new and innovative approach to global career ladders which was successful across global regions and subsidiaries at National Starch and Chemical Company, formerly a subsidiary of ICI. Mr. Oliva is also a member of the New Jersey Compensation Association (NJCA), American Society of Training & Development (ASTD), and the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM). Mr. Oliva received his bachelors (BA) in Psychology from University at Buffalo and his Masters (MS) in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ.
